Description of position
Tokyo Children's Academy takes pride in our highly academic program with reading and math as the cornerstone of our curriculum. Through the incorporation of Montessori materials, online classes, educational software, textbooks, and workbooks along with various curriculum models, we create an Individual Education Plan that is based on the academic level and learning ability of each individual child. The teaching of problem solving skills and critical thinking are also important elements in our curriculum.

TC Academy is currently looking for a math and science teacher for our upper elementary class. The class consists of 12-15 students from ages 8 through 12, most working above their grade level.

The applicant should be well rounded in classroom management and proficient at multi-tasking. Applicant should be able to work in a multi-age classroom with students at various development levels. Our teachers use their high level of expertise and energy to nurture each student, stimulating creativity and critical thinking. The faculty and staff transform technique and knowledge into a stimulating world of learning.

We are looking for someone who can commit to a minimum of a 2 year contract.
