This role is ideal for a customer orientated, experienced and target driven sales or account management professional with a passion for internet, who wishes to immerse themselves into the commercial dynamics of a successful and rapidly growing company. The role combines both business development and the management of existing distribution accounts requiring excellent organisation skills, the ability to work pro-actively on your own initiative and the ability to establish relationships and influence decision makers at all levels. The successful candidate will be responsible for all accounts in the area of responsibility.

The objective of the sales team is to sell hotel stock through 3rd party websites from well known branded sites, search engines and partner based hotel directories.

Function description:

• Identifying partners with potential customers for hotel reservations;
• Negotiate and making deals by: affiliate model, search engine submission, pay per click, link submission, web advertising and sponsored content;
• Analyze activities, measure success and report results;
• Manage relationships with partner sites;
• Monitor market developments relevant to the travel web industry and Agoda, research and report on findings;
• Arrange and attend client meetings with key distributors in order to secure deals (which may require some international travel).

Requirements :

Applicant must currently reside in Japan.

• Fluent in English written and spoken; Native Japanese speaker;
Knowledge of any major Asian or European language is a preference;
• Business, marketing or other relevant (academic) degree;
• Commercial focus, sales driven, result oriented;
• Proven track of sales on high level
• Creative, persistent and outgoing personality, eager to learn;
• Excellent communication, negotiation & reporting skills;
• Self starter with an ability to work efficiently, effectively and independently.

Working indepently and establish the relationship with the hotel in Japan
Holidays : 6 days for 1st year, 12 days at 2nd and maximum at 18 days
Working hours : 8 hrs. from Mon - Fri
